Guanyun Mountain Scenic Area in Lushi County is located in Panhe Township, Duguan Town, and Shahe Township, as well as part of Zhuyang Town in Lingbao City, forming part of the Xiaoshan branch of the Qinling Mountains. The main peak stands at 1,866 meters above sea level and is one of the highest peaks in western Henan. Since 2008, the Henan Provincial Association for Assisting the Disabled and the Needy has coordinated over 80 million RMB from caring entrepreneurs for the construction of this nonprofit charity project, aiming to alleviate poverty through tourism development. The scenic area spans Xiaoshan, Xionger, and Funiu Mountains, 30 km from the county seat. The area is lush, with rugged peaks, ancient trees, rare flowers and herbs, and vast grasslands, rich in natural and cultural resources. The main peak, Tiantan Peak, is at 1,866 meters, with 98% forest coverage, over 2,000 types of rare plants and traditional Chinese medicinal materials, and diverse wildlife such as leopards, antelopes, and deer. The climate is mild year-round, and the area boasts over 120 edible wild resources and over 400 medicinal resources, offering both medicinal and economic value.
