Shandong Yueshen New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was established on April 3, 2020, with a registered capital of 50 million RMB. Its business scope includes the manufacture of synthetic materials, high-performance fibers and composites, synthetic fibers, graphite and carbon products, graphene sales, and new materials technology promotion services. The project plans a total investment of 350 million RMB, covering about 28.7 mu with a total construction area of about 19,000 square meters. It will mainly build a high-performance carbon fiber precursor production workshop, supporting utilities, and four production lines with an annual output of 5,000 tons of carbon fiber precursor. Once operational, the facility will achieve stable annual output of 5,000 tons of carbon fiber precursor. This is the world’s first industrial dry-spinning carbon fiber precursor production facility, breaking domestic and international barriers and filling the gap in Zibo’s carbon fiber industry, creating new opportunities for the local new materials sector. The project expands the company's product range and supports its transformation and upgrading. In recent years, the carbon fiber industry has developed rapidly, with expanding applications and strong industry prospects, but domestic supply of precursors has always lagged behind demand. The project aligns with national and municipal policies for high-end new materials and has broad market prospects. Upon completion, it will break the domestic monopoly of Jilin Carbon Valley in precursor supply. Construction conditions are in place, but funding is needed.
