The project covers 200 mu (≈13.33 hectares), with Phase I processing 50,000 tons/year of defective lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and producing 40,000 tons/year of recycled LFP cathode materials, plus 2GWh cylindrical cells (recycled-material compatible). Phase II will process 50,000–100,000 tons/year of retired batteries and produce 30,000 tons/year of recycled electrode materials. At full capacity, annual revenue is projected at 2–3 billion yuan, with 300 million yuan in taxes, boosting the local economy and creating 450 jobs. Yima's Class D chemical park can accommodate the project. Currently in preliminary discussions, the project seeks 560 million yuan in investment.
